RD Sharma for Class 8 Mathematics Book Review

In this article I have mentioned all the Pros and Cons point of RD Sharma and I have given my personal honest Review of RD Sharma Book and at the end of this article I have provided my personal suggestion for you as your Elder Brother or Friend that Should You Buy RD Sharma Book or not?or to go with other Books like RS Aggrawal.
Review: As you know that RD Sharma is one of the most popular author among students because of his Awesome Books of Mathematics for class 6 to 12. His Full name is Ravi Dutt Sharma. First time my elder brother bought old RD Sharma book for class 8 for me. I got my First RD Sharma Book when I was in class 8 and From that time I always use RD Sharma as a Reference Book for mathematics. Most of the students afraid from RD Sharma book because it has huge collections of questions and out of these some question are beyond our NCERT BOOK or Syllabus.
But As we know that Competition is rising in every competitive or school or Board exams. We need to learn other reference Books that are beyond our NCERT Books because the questions asked in competitive exams like NTSE(National Talent Search Examinations) or IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad) are beyond our Syllabus or NCERT Books.
When I start solving RD Sharna problems I also become frustrated because of large number of exercises or questions But when I got the question paper of my eight class maths examination I become very happy because 30% questions are exactly the same that I have done in RD Sharma and 50% questions are also same but the values are changed. Finally I have scored 98 marks out of 100 in maths in class 8. My parents was so happy from my outstanding performance.
Since from Class 8 I used to read RD Sharma in class 9,10 and 11th also. Currently I am In Class 11 I have 2 Volumes of RD Sharma.
PROS and CONS of RD Sharma:
Now If we talk about its PROS and CONS then RD Sharma has many PROS such as:
1. It is very useful in competitive exams.
2. It Aims at helping Students practising Regularly.
3. It has Exam oriented approach.
4. It also contain both solved or unsolved collection of Questions.
5. It is also contain some sample question papers.
But the only CONS that I feels is its Price. RD Sharma is too expensive and a student who belongs to a poor family is unable to afford. Therefore I suggest to purchase old RD Sharma Books instead of new from your senior students If you can't afford new one. But if you can afford then I personally suggest you to purchase new book of Latest Edition because exam pattern or syllabus is changed annually.
The latest Edition textbook covers the latest syllabus prescribed in keeping with the CCE guidelines by CBSE.
